
Camp Descriptions
June 9-13: City Life Step into the heart of the city and experience the hustle and bustle of urban life at City Life Camp! Campers will explore what makes a city tick, from architecture to local businesses and cultural hotspots. On Wednesday, we’ll take an exciting outing to Market Square, where campers will discover the vibrant local market and learn about the community’s history. Parents are asked to drop off and pick up their children at the community location for the outing.
June 16-20: Zoo and Animals Calling all animal lovers! Zoo and Animals Camp offers a wild adventure filled with learning and exploration. Campers will get to know a variety of animals, their habitats, and the importance of wildlife conservation. On Wednesday, we’ll head to the Knoxville Zoo for a hands-on experience with amazing creatures from all around the world. Please remember, parents will drop off and pick up their campers at the community location for this outing.
June 23-27: Camping and Hiking Nature awaits at Camping and Hiking Camp! This week, campers will learn the essentials of camping, survival skills, and how
to enjoy the great outdoors. On Wednesday, we’ll venture out to McFee Park for a day of hiking and outdoor adventure. Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up campers at the community location for transportation to and from the park.
July 7-11: Artist Week Unleash your creativity at Artist Week Camp! Whether it’s painting, drawing, or sculpture, this week is all about expressing yourself through art. Campers will engage in creative projects and artistic exploration. On Wednesday, we’ll enjoy a cultural outing to the Knoxville Museum of Art (KMA) and Fort Kid downtown, where campers can see inspiring artwork and explore one of the city’s most fun public art installations. Parents will need to drop off and pick up at the community location for the outing.
July 14-18: Games and Service It’s time to have fun and give back! Games and Service Camp combines playtime with community service. Campers will enjoy various games and team-building activities throughout the week, while also contributing to a local service project that makes a difference. On Wednesday, campers will work together on a community service project that supports our neighbors (this outing is next door and we will be walking- no special Wednesday drop offs needed this week!)
July 21-25: Nature Pals Nature Pals Camp is all about connecting with the natural world and learning about the environment. Campers will explore local ecosystems, meet new animal friends, and gain a deeper appreciation for the great outdoors. On Wednesday, we’ll head to Ijams Nature Center for a day full of hands-on nature activities and exploration. Parents are asked to drop off and pick up campers at the community location for transportation to and from Ijams.
